There's a new challenge over at Shopping Our Stash today and it's 'Vellum, Violet and Violins', so you can use a combination of any or all of those things. I managed two outta three and loved this challenge cos purple is a fave colour of mine!! Here's my card (click to enlarge if you want to see the shading a bit better):
Ingredients:
Image - The Greeting Farm coloured with Spectrum Noirs.
Papers - Purple card from stash embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and Papermania Vellum.
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts.

ReplyDeleteHi Marie, I think you have cracked the SN colouring dear, this is really well coloured, blended and shaded, and you have chosen two of the hardest colours to work with Mauve and Brown. Carry on hun

ReplyDeleteGorgeous shading...and yep browns are so hard to do...and the hair is lovely and lush..and the purple with all the fabulous tones...it's spot on Marie..!
I have bought some too...well Steve did for my B'day...so I have to wait boohoo... :o(
I found using my pencils have really helped me too..and using white spirit (crafters)..to blend...I getting some super results..!
I was cream crackered from my trip yesterday..the heat and peeps...but we had a lovely trip...and I hope I see you soon..

Hi my sweetness gorgeous card your colouring is fab I was thinking of trying those pens but to be honest I love my copics now I've given PM's to Craig for fishing etc they colour line etc to blend in with background around them so fish dont see it lol.
