Have Fun!!

I don't know how the weather is in your part of the world but here in London, it's glorious!! We spent a lovely day in the park yesterday, I took along my son and one of this friends and we met up with some more friends - it's so relaxing to sit there with the sun shining. It just makes everything seem somehow better!!
Anyway, enough about the weather and back to the matter in hand LOL!! As it's Sunday, there's a new challenge over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp and this week, Uma has designed a sketch which I'll admit I found rather challenging when I first looked at it, but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out (even if it did have me digging out different bits of kitchen crockery to draw around!!). Here's my card:
Ingredients:
Image - Pollycraft coloured with Spectrum Noirs (with glossy accents on the balloon).
Papers - MME.
Dies - Star border MFT dienamics.
Other - Scrabble letters and Black fineliner pen both from stash.

I have to say, I was absolutely thrilled to be picked as a Pollycraft favourite last week - I really needed a boost like that at the moment. So - I felt it only right that I took part in their challenge this week - Challenge #132 Check it out. I also used one of Paula's (the store owner) favourite techniques - doodling! Which (I think) is a first for me, but definitely one to be repeated!! Right, I think that's it from me for now........xx

Let's Get Digital....

Tell me - did you say that to the tune of the 80's anthem 'Let's Get Physical'? Ha, ha - no? Just me then!! Funny the way the mind works (or mine at least)!! Anyhoo - this week's challenge over at My Mum's Craft Shop Challenges is to use one of your digital images. Here's my card:
Ingredients:
Image - Some Odd Girl coloured with Spectrum Noirs.
Papers - MME.
Card Blank - Craftwork Cards.
Sentiment stamp - Lindsay Mason designs/Personal Impressions.
Other - Buttons and Star gems from stash.

I've followed the sketch over at the Some Odd Girl challenge blog, so I'll be entering it over there and I think that's about it for the moment! Enjoy the rest of your week! Ta-ta for now.....xx

Red, Yellow and Blue

Good Morning! There's a new challenge starting today over at Southern Girls and this fortnight, it's a new one for me over at SG - a colour challenge! This time around, we'd like to see your projects using the colours 'Red, Yellow and Blue'. Here's my card:
Ingredients:
Image - Pollycraft coloured with Spectrum Noirs (and a bit of Glossy Accents on her apple!)
Papers - My Mind's Eye.
Cardstock - Bazzill Basics and DCWV.
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards.
Ribbon - Papermania capsule collection.
Dies - Marianne Doily die (under image), Marianne flourishes and MFT Rolled Roses dies.

I'm also entering my card into the Pollycraft Monday Challenge cos I followed their fabby sketch over there, The Poodles Parlour 'Anything Goes' challenge and Cardmadfairy's Digi Days challenge 29 'Add a Sentiment'.
When I first saw the colours for this challenge, I first thought boy's cards but then I noticed that the gorgeous new MME papers were predominantly those colours, so I can't wait to see what you come up with! Make sure you join in over at Southern Girls........xx
