Gorgeous Girlie!

Hello again! Back so soon because I've got a card to share and it's for the Lili of the Valley challenge which closes today. This week was a 'Bingo' challenge and I'd been asked by a friend to make a card for one of her friend's 50th Birthday, so I used Flowers, Gems and Ribbon to fit into the challenge. Here's the card (and it's an easel card - with a box too - so lots of pics. Sorry!!!!)

Ingredients:
Image - Lili of the Valley coloured with Spectrum Noirs.
Papers - First Edition.
Card - Bazzill Basics.
Sentiment - Craftwork Cards.
Ribbon and Gems - Wild Orchid Crafts.
Flowers on Box - The Works.
Dies - Cheery Lynn Doily Die, Flourish - Whimsy Stamps, Leaves - Marianne Design, Flowers and Tag (on box) - Magnolia Doohickey.

And that's about it! I really hope you like it - I've used quite an unusual colour combination but I thought it worked with the papers. Thanks for visiting and I'd love to know what you think! Bye for now..........xxx

Spooky!!

Morning! The new challenge starting today over at My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge is 'Spooky Time', so we want to see your Halloween cards/projects.
I must admit I kinda struggled with this one because Halloween isn't a big thing here in the UK and so there isn't much call for cards for the occasion, but here's what I came up with:
Ingredients:
Images - David Parkins (Free from Simply Cards and Papercrafts magazine) coloured with Spectrum Noirs).
Papers - Another freebie from Summer Driggs.
Punch - Martha Stewart.

And that's it! I'll be back later to link it up to some challenges but for now, I've gotta dash! See you later lovelies............xxx

Naughty or Nice?

Morning! What have you all got planned for the weekend? My son's has gone away with his Nan, so I've got a nice quiet one planned full of uninterrupted stamping - 'specially with my new SWALK winter cheer stamps and some of the christmas Magnolias!! I seriously need to get a wriggle on with the chrimbo cards.......but, here's another one for ya!

Ingredients:
Image - Pollycraft coloured with Spectrum Noirs.
Papers - Free from a magazine.
Sentiment - Whimsy Stamps.
Dies and Punches - Nellie Snellen rectangle die and Fiskars Threading Water punch.
Other - Bias binding from stash.

I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Aren't those papers just the cutest? They were free with Quick Cards magazine and they're just perfect for alot of cards I've got planned!! And do you like my sentiment? I love these Whimsy Stamps ticket sentiments and my fave thing to do with them at the mo, is to stamp them in two different colours, as I've done here. What d'you think? Well, I hope you like it and have a good weekend!! Thanks for looking and I hope to see you again soon TTFN.......................xxx

Mmmmmm.......Food (and drink!)

Morning All!! There's a new challenge starting today over at 'My Mum's Craft Shop Challenges' and this week, we want to see your cards featuring food and/or drink. The challenge is being sponsored by Wild Rose Studio and being as I had their image of a girl holding a cupcake - still uninked (slapped wrists) - I thought it would be rude not to use it, so here it is:
Ingredients:
Image - Wild Rose Studio coloured with Spectrum Noirs.
Papers and Ribbon - Papermania 'Little Cake Shoppe' (I think!?)
Dies - MFT Rosette die and Magnolia Doohickey Lace border die.
Other - Ranger Glossy Accents (on the cherry!) and Gems from stash.

I followed the sketch over at Dutch Dare, so I'll be entering it over there, and I think that's about it from me - I've kept it short (and I hope sweet!) today. I'd better go cos I've got a little dog that wants a walk. And I'm in a fab mood today cos my SWALK winter cheer stamps arrived this morning - and my mum's taking Sam away for the weekend, so guess what I'll be doing!!!??? Bye for now......................xxx

Just Some Lines Christmas Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to our Christmas Blog Hop! Today we are showing off the remaining 12 NEW Christmas images that can be found at the Just Some Lines shop (the 1st image was shown as a sneak peek on the JSL Blog yesterday). Jehanne has created some fabulous images for us and you'll definitely want to check them all out by hopping around to our DT members' blogs.

We also have some fun prizes for you to win, so make sure you stop at each blog along the route and leave a comment - winners will be chosen from the comments.

You should have arrived here from Jenn. If you haven't come from there, please go back to Just Some Lines Blog for a full list of 'Hoppers' and start at the beginning.

Here's my card:

Today I've used 'Seeing Santa' (you can go straight to the store by clicking on the link). I've also used Imaginisce papers, a Craftwork Cards sentiment and used a Cuttlebug die to cut the fancy corner. I used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday, so I'll be entering my card into their challenge.

I hope you enjoyed your stop, now it's off to the next blog, which is Juelmarie. Have fun!!
